At QallCode ("we", "the app"), we place great importance on your privacy and the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the QallCode mobile app and website (qallcode.com), why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have.

1. Data We Collect

We designed the app to collect as little data as possible (data minimization principle):

• Device identifier: A random identifier tied to your device, created when you first open the app, which does not directly identify you personally.
• QR code information: The QR code(s) you generate and the label you assign to them (e.g. "Dog Tag", "Vehicle Contact").
• Notification token (FCM): A push-notification identifier generated via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, used to deliver incoming call alerts.
• Audio data: During a call, your voice is relayed to the other party in real time (via LiveKit infrastructure). Call content is never recorded or stored on our servers.
• Personal information: We do not request or store your phone number, first name, last name, or other sensitive information that directly reveals your identity.
• IP Address and Call Logs: To investigate abuse and harassment reports, we log which QR code was called, when, and from which IP address (metadata only — never call content) for a limited period.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the limited data we collect for the following purposes:

• Establishing a secure call connection between parties via QR codes
• Delivering incoming call notifications in a timely manner
• Maintaining the security, continuity, and proper functioning of the service

Your data is never sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To keep the app running properly, we exchange data with the following trusted partners and subprocessors:

• LiveKit: Voice call infrastructure and real-time audio transmission.
• Google Firebase (FCM): Delivery of push notifications to your device.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your QR code and account information are securely stored until you delete your account or stop using QallCode. If you uninstall the app or request deletion of your account/data, your data will be removed from our systems. To request deletion, email us at [email protected].

5. Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the European Union, or Turkey's KVKK) to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information about such processing
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion or destruction of your data under applicable legal conditions

6. Children's Privacy

QallCode is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group.
